Priscilla H. Perez is a seasoned legal professional with a diverse background in both criminal and civil law. Prior to joining Ludwin Law Group, P.A., she specialized in representing international claimants under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA). Ms. Perez has a proven track record of success in litigating Defense Base Act (DBA) claims to final judgment. Before her work in international law, Ms. Perez honed her skills as an Assistant Public Defender, where she fearlessly defended clients charged with first-degree felonies. Her dedication to justice was recognized by the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, who awarded her the prestigious Hat Trick award for securing three consecutive not-guilty verdicts. Ms. Perez’s legal career also includes experience as an Assistant State Attorney, where she prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony charges. With a strong command of trial advocacy, she has successfully tried over 30 jury trials to verdict.
A skilled advocate with a passion for helping others, Ms. Perez graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During her time at UNF, she actively engaged in student government, serving as ZTA President, Student Government Senator, and Student Advocate.Ms. Perez’s commitment to academic excellence and public service continued at Florida Coastal School of Law, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class in 2014. Her dedication to pro bono work earned her the Pro Bono Honors award for completing over 100 hours of community service. Additionally, she was recognized as the best advocate in her trial course and served as Vice President of the Women Lawyer Student Association and a member of the Robert M. Foster Inn of Court.
